What types of rental cars and vehicles are available for hire?
Almost any vehicle is available for hire, including:
- Small, medium and large sized cars
- Utes, trucks and vans
- People movers & minivans
- 4 Wheel Drive’s / SUV’s and
- Sports, prestige and luxury cars
Each hire location will have a different range available. You will be able to see the range available at your local hire location when using the online quote / booking form.
To hire and drive a truck, do I need a special drivers licence?
Most of the Europcar truck rentals can be driven with a generic licence.
What age do I need to be to rent a car or commercial vehicle?
The minimum age for all drivers is 21. Drivers aged 21 to 24 are restricted to the types of vehicles they can hire. All drivers under the age of 25 are subject to a daily age surcharge.
Is it possible to cancel or modify my car hire reservation once it is confirmed?
Yes it is. Go to the Edit Booking page and enter in your Reservation Confirmation Number and Email Address used to make your booking. This will bring up your existing booking and will have the option to edit or cancel.
Can I organise a one-way car rental?
If you are moving far away from your old home there is always the option to return the car to a different car rental location from where you collected it. Some additional fees may apply.
Can I tow using a Europcar vehicle?
Yes, if a towbar has been fitted by a Europcar representative and the load is within the vehicle’s design limits.
